Like its name suggests, newcomer Caviar Russe is dedicated to all things caviar. Hailing from New York City, the Miami outpost opened last week inside of the Four Seasons Brickell and features a restaurant, bar and retail boutique all dedicated to the fancy fish eggs.
The kitchen led by chef David Valencia, a veteran of Alain Ducasse’s global empire, showcases a menu with caviar, raw bar and crudo-inspired cuisine. Caviar is served in anywhere from 25 to 250 grams with house-made crepe blinis, creme fraiche and chives. If you really want to go all out, a $395 six-course caviar tasting menu is also available. And to pair with the caviar? Plenty of champagne and vodka like Dom Perignon Oenotheque and 20 different types of vodkas representing nearly every major producer in the world.
The space keeps with the "opulent" theme with a Calacatta Gold marble arch, white leather and gold adorned bar stools, a hand-blown glass chandelier hanging from a gold-leafed dome and banquettes with "caviar-inspired" leather. The restaurant and boutique is now open Monday through Saturday. For more information call 305-902-6969.
