The Barley Team to Open Faith and Pizza Pop-Up in Kendall May 1

Seems like Jorgie Ramos is keeping busy during his time off, by opening another restaurant concept right next to his soon-to-be open Barley in Downtown Dadeland on May 1. Called Faith and Pizza, it’ll be located two doors down from Barley in the now vacant Flippin’ Pizza space.

Even better, the chef and his team are donating all the proceeds from the restaurant to three local charities including Live Like Bella,The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis and Autism Speaks or the first six months in business. How can they do this exactly? The restaurant team has partnered with its landlord, Downtown Dadeland, who is covering the rent for the first six months, which usually can run up to $126 thousand annually.

The cuisine featured on the Faith and Pizza menu is a mashup of his signature gastropub fare, which can also be found at neighboring Barley, an extensive oyster menu, "toast" menu along with plenty of pizza combos featuring products from local purveyors. And depending on how the restaurant does, it may just stick around as permanent spot. Stay tuned for more details.
