Now Miami residents don’t have to make the trek to Broward whenever they want their Tap 42 fix. The popular Ft. Lauderdale restaurant has officially opened its first 305 outpost as of today in Coral Gables at 301 Giralda Avenue. The Miami location features the same modern takes on classic "gastropub" fare as its Broward counterparts with dishes like bacon and corn guacamole, grilled chicken wings and "prohibition" burgers, all prepared by the restaurant’s executive chef Andrew Balick. Also making its way down is the restaurant’s extensive bar menu with more than 50 craft beers on the menu and cocktails. Its popular weekly specials like $5 burger night, bottomless mimosas on the weekends and ladies’ night will also make an appearance in Miami. Tap 42 is now open Monday through Thursday 11:30a.m. to 2 a.m., Friday 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday 11am to midnight.
