SLS Brickell Announces Michael Schwartz and José Andrés Concepts

Italian for Schwartz; seafood for Andrés

It’s been known for some time that when the SLS Brickell Hotel & Residences debuts later this year it will feature two concepts from chefs Michael Schwartz and José Andrés — and now we know what those concepts will be.

First up is will be Schwartz’s first ever Italian concept, Fi’lia, planning its debut in October 2016. The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and "feature honest Italian food highlighting fresh ingredients." On the menu think rustic Italian dishes like table-side created Caesar salad, pizzas and pastas.

Shortly following that opening will be Bazaar Mar by Andrés. Like the name alludes, it will be dedicated to all things seafood with dishes ceviches, tiraditos, whole fish will be prepared in a number of ways along with "Bazaar classics," sprinkling the menu.

Both concepts will debut inside the soon-to-be open SLS Hotel & Residences Brickell at 1300 South Miami Avenue. Stay tuned for more updates.
