The grand exodus to Miami is underway. The latest restaurant to cross the border is JEY Hospitality’s TacoCraft Taqueria & Tequila Bar, which opened a Miami outpost last week right across from another restaurant of theirs, ROK:BRGR, at 5829 SW 73 Street. The 3,000 square-foot space offers both indoor and outdoor seating along with brightly decorated interiors like its Fort Lauderdale location featuring street art and hand painted murals created by local artist, Ruben Ubiera. On the menu expect all the dishes that made it a hit in the 9-5-4 like ten different varieties of tacos, a quesadilla bar and 150 types of tequila and mezcal, along with new to Miami items like oxtail empanadas. The restaurant also offers up a weekday happy hour, taco Tuesday specials, Sunday brunch and a late night taco window open on the weekends until 4 a.m. The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 a.m. For more information call (305) 668-5612.
