BLT Steak Is Officially LT Steak & Seafood

A few weeks back it was announced that South Beach mainstay BLT Steak would be transforming into LT Steak & Seafood, and now the switch is here. Still helmed by chef Laurent Tourondel, LT Steak & Seafood features a menu of — you guessed it — steak and seafood, which is a huge departure from its previous incarnation of well, a steak and seafood menu. The new(ish) LT menu features dishes like crunchy curried crab, grilled red snapper, seasonal salads, an "extensive" sushi and raw bar, and, of course, a large selection of steaks offered with rotating market sides. The restaurant revamp is part of the first of three culinary concepts that Tourondel will oversee as part of the property’s larger expansion, with the remaining projects scheduled to open in fall of 2016. LT Steak & Seafood is located at 1440 Ocean Drive and is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday through Saturday.
