And another one bites the dust. Miracle Mile mainstay Randazzo's Little Italy, apparently shuttered a few weeks back according to reports. Co-owned by former boxing pro Marc Randazzo, it featured classic Italian eats like meatballs with Sunday gravy, calamari and hearty pasta dishes, all served on classic red checkered table clothes, of course.
As to what happened, its other partner Jim Ferraro told Miami.com that due to some management changes, the restaurant ended up losing money. Or as Ferraro so tactfully put it, "The place was going down the tubes."
What’s next for the space remains to be unknown, even though Ferraro, who still owns the space, tells the outlet that he hopes it will stay a restaurant and is looking for an operator who he "could trust without me having to be involved." Stay tuned for more updates. [Miami.com]
