Over the past five years Eating House has celebrated its self-proclaimed favorite holiday, 4/20, with a one-night-only, munchie-filled feast. The popular dinner usually sells out in two days time, and weeks before its April 20th date.
If you weren’t one of the lucky few to snag a seat at the annual dinner, then we’ve got some good news for you. The Coral Gables mainstay is bringing back a collection of its favorite menu items from the last five years of the popular 4/20 dinners for its Miami Munchies Summer Menu from August 2 to September 30.
The seven-course prix fixe menu, priced at $42.00 per person (just like the dinners), features dishes like PB&J poutine made with sweet potato fries, smoked peanut, blueberry and bacon; black truffle and short rib topped nachos; buffalo duck wings; Asian-inspired chicken and waffles; a miniature version of the Cap’n Crunch pancakes, and, of course, a "special" brownie sundae.
The menu is available during dinner service with a minimum of two people participating in the menu, and $4.20 from each dinner will be donated to United for Care, an organization run by People United for Medical Marijuana to advocate for the legalization of medical marijuana in the state of Florida.
