Miami is getting yet another celebrity chef restaurant concept. This time from Top Chef Master winner, Ricky Bayless, who plans to open an outpost of his Red O restaurant in Downtown Miami next year, according to the Miami.com.
Eater LA described the concept as "medium-end Mexican steakhouse feel" with dishes like bone-in filet mignon cuts with a mojo de ajo garlic sauce and grilled sea bass with black beans and shaved escabeche, along with a tequila heavy drink menu. Bayless has three locations of the restaurant already in southern California in Santa Monica, Melrose and Newport Beach.
The restaurant will set up shop on the ground floor of the currently being built Metropolitan Miami’s Met Square at 340 SE 3rd St. No word on an opening date just yet. Stay tuned for more details.
