Popular chef and restauranteur Michael Schwartz seems to be doubling down on his soon-to-open Italian concept, Fi’lia.
Eater L.A. is reporting that come early 2017 there will a Fi’lia location inside the James Hotel in West Hollywood, which is owned and operated by the SBE subsidiary Disruptive Restaurant Group. The SLS Brickell Hotel & Residences, where the Miami location will be, is part of the SBE portfolio — so it makes sense.
The Miami location is set to debut in October, and will be open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily featuring a menu with rustic Italian dishes like table-side created Caesar salad, pizzas and pastas. The L.A. location will open a few months after in January 2017.
This isn’t the first time a Miami concept has headed out west, earlier this year the Bar Lab team announced an outpost of the Broken Shaker in the west coast outpost of the Freehand Hotel, which is slated to debut sometime this fall.
