Downtown Dadeland has added yet another eatery into the mix. This time its an ice cream and bakery "dedicated to all things sweet" called Nanndi Homemade Frozen Cream & Pastry Shop.
Created by chef Sabrina Mancin and businessman Alain Torres, it serves a hybrid gelato/ice cream called frozen cream that is a "all-natural blend of ice cream and Italian gelato" featuring a large variety of flavors and textures. Think flavors like "María Cookie," made with the Miami-staple, María cookies; "Dark Chocolate with Candied Oranges," and "Salted Pistachio," along with more classics like chocolate, vanilla and mango. Also on the menu at Nanndi is a variety of fresh pastries like brownies, scones and cookies, along with dairy free options, fruit sorbets, and low-sugar marmalades and conserves.
Nanndi Homemade Frozen Cream & Pastry Shop is now open at 8845 SW 72nd Place and is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
