The former front and back of the house team of South Beach Greek staple Estiatorio Milos have officially opened the doors to their latest concept, Nisi Restaurant, in Fort Lauderdale.
Helmed by chef and former Hell’s Kitchen contestant Joshua Wahler and Andy Tsavos, who led Milos for many years, Nisi will shift away from the traditional Greek cuisine the duo are known for to a more Mediterranean menu with a few "Asian touches at play." Dishes include items like jumbo lump crab cakes, phyllo dough wrapped feta sticks, wild Icelandic cod filets, along with cocktails using ingredients like lavender, thyme and chamomile.
Housed in the former Thasos space at 3330 East Oakland Park Boulevard, the restaurant has undergone a "subtle redesign," including the installation of a raw bar that is also now prominent on the menu. Nisi is now open for dinner from Tuesday to Sunday beginning at 5 p.m. Call 954-200-6006 for more information.
