McAlister's Deli To Open First South Florida Location in Doral

Last year sweet tea lovers across South Florida rejoiced when it was announced that McAlister's Deli was finally making its way down to this part of the country. Then, there was silence.

More than a year after the initial announcement the chain finally signed on the dotted line for its first outpost in Miami, heading to the Doral in early 2017. The restaurant will open in the recently opened Gateway Plaza at Doral at 2000 NW 87th Avenue — that also houses other chains like Winghouse, Tropical Smoothie, Sprint, Chipotle, Piola's, and Coldstone Creamery — in a 2,917-square-foot space.

The chain fast casual chain, based out of Oxford, Mississippi, already operates more than 350 locations in 26 states. Stay tuned for more opening details.
