Raw Bar and Juice Shop, Juicense, Comes to Coconut Grove

Juices, "superfoods" and more.

Riding the wave of juice bars popping up all over the area, Juicense is the latest concept to debut in the Magic City, right in the middle of Coconut Grove. The concept, which is indecently owned instead of being an out-of-state import, features a menu created by nutrition expert Mariana Diez. Each juice and smoothie recipe was designed to "ensure your body gets what it needs." For instance, orange and echinacea to help boost immunity; raw cacao for its antioxidants and spirulina for iron and protein needs.

In addition to cold-pressed juices, Juicense serves a whole range cuisine from grab-and-go offerings to ready-made items like cacao chia pudding, raw oatmeal, ace bowls and "power" quinoa. And if you want to torture yourself try a cleanse, it has those too, which unlike others, includes food along with juices. Juicense is located at 2992 Mc Farlane Road and is open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. For more information please visit www.juicense.com
