WYNWOOD — Miami's first-ever grappa cocktail competition heads to Beaker & Gray on December 12, part of its five-city challenge and guests are invited to celebrate with the winners from 5 to 7 p.m.

SOUTH BEACHSlow Food Miami hosts its monthly "Snail Social" on Tuesday, December 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Semilla Eatery and Bar, featuring complimentary bites, $4 draft beers and $6 wine and specialty cocktails.

MIDTOWNMy Ceviche is celebrating the opening of its sixth location with a three-day block party, complete with complimentary food, drink, fitness, art and beauty. The festivities run from Friday, December 15, through Sunday, December 18.

SOUTH BEACH — On Friday, December 16, Pizza & Burger by Michael Mina is hosting its first annual Ugly Sweater Party. Guests are encouraged to wear their ugliest sweater, with a chance to win a one-day experience in an Ultra or Arkadia Cabana for up to ten guests, one bottle of tequila and enjoy a $300 dinner credit at Pizza & Burger.

EVERYWHERE — Thanksgiving is this week. Here's where to eat out and where to grab your food around town to-go.

EDGEWATER — Rowan Jacobsen, a proclaimed "chief oyster geek," is serving as Mignonette’s guest shucker on Tuesday, November 22, making a menu based on recipes from his newest book The Essential Oyster. Email tess@mignonettemiami.com for tickets.

UPPER EAST SIDEThe Anderson has partnered up with its friends around town to host the first annual Friendsgiving, this Monday, November 21. SOUTH BEACH — Every Tuesday at Pubbelly is now Dim Down Tuesday’s, featuring $25 all-you-can-eat dumplings and $4 bao buns all night long.

DESIGN DISTRICT — Rome-based food historian, and Eater contributor, Katie Parla, is hosting a one-night-only dinner this Wednesday, November 16 at Harry's Pizzeria, to celebrate her new cookbook featuring a family-style meal with dishes from the book. Buy your ticket here.

WYNWOOD — The "world’s most intimate martini bar" makes an appearance in Wynwood Yard November 15 and 16th, where guests can get a one-on-one consultation with a Grey Goose mixologist in a vehicle inspired by a classic, French bread delivery van.

SOUTH BEACHLure Fishbar is teaming up with Macchialina for a "A Night in Amalfi" dinner on November 16 featuring a four-course menu with pairings. Seating is limited. Reservations are required and can be made by emailing Jacqueline@macchialina.com.

WYNWOOD — As part of the Jack Daniel Distillery’s 150th anniversary, Jack is bringing a bit of Lynchburg to Miami by constructing a pop-up General Store at 2600 NW 2nd Ave in Wynwood that will be open from November 13 to 19 featuring a variety of unique daily themes including Jack-infused treats from The Little Sugars, typography barrel art, musical guests, charcoal portraits, and more.

WYNWOOD — The Saffron Supper club takes over R House this Sunday to create a special four-course meal with the Spice Detective. Guests can expect poetry, culture, music and even some sparkler-festooned platters. Buy your ticket here.

LAUDERDALE — Burlock Coast is ringing in its first anniversary with the launch of a new Farmer's Market and a special Anniversary Happy Hour on November 12 at 5 p.m. complete with $1 oysters, $6 specialty cocktails, house white or red wine and BC Bootlager, Burlock’s proprietary brew and $6 bar bites.

SOUTH BEACH — This Thursday, October 27, five "top Miami chefs and top Miami foodies" will team up to partake in the first ever Bao Bun Competition at Talde. The party kicks off at 7 p.m.

BRICKELL — It's that time of year again: truffle season. To celebrate Toscana Divino has debuted an all-new menu featuring the flavor of white truffles with dishes like the "Uova," the tagliatelle or risotto and an all-natural rib eye or filet mignon.

CORAL GABLESUvaggio’s Head "Wine-O," Heath Porter will go pour-to-pour against NYC sommelier Patrick Cappiello, operating partner and Wine Director of New restaurants Rebelle and Peal and Ash for the latest Somm Slam this Thursday, October 27.  Guests of the Somm Slam will enjoy a five course wine-paired dinner, with the three middle courses comprising the competition. CORAL GABLES — The Biltmore Hotel’s signature restaurant, Palme d’Or, has released a three-course menu, available for $49, from now until the end of November, and in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a portion of the proceeds through October 31st will be donated to the Florida Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.

DOWNTOWN MIAMI — Sustainable seafood takes center stage at Zest Miami's Sustainable Seafood Soirée on Tuesday, October 18. The five-course dinner features a variety of different seafood prepared by Cindy Hutson herself. Buy your ticket this way.

SOUTH BEACH Spris Lincoln Road is celebrating its 18th anniversary by introducing three new pizza doughs, each with a healthy slant. The doughs feature black flour, turmeric and hemp and are available for a limited time only.

SOUTH MIAMI — The Deering Estate Foundation’s annual Wine on Harvest Moon celebration is back again this year on Saturday, October 15 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. This year's theme is Akubekhule! A Culinary Safari Through South Africa featuring wines from the region along with bites from chefs at Station 5, The Biltmore Hotel and many others. Get your ticket here.

SOUTH BEACH — For the latest installment of Mendin & Friends chefs Jose Mendin, Sergio Navarro and Maria Orantes will come full circle, cooking a 10-course tasting menu alongside their mentor and Master Chef Angel Palacios of the famed La Broche. MIAMI RIVER — Even though Miami Spice might be done, doesn't mean you still can't land a good dining deal. Now every Tuesday you can get a three-course meal — plus a drink — at River Yacht Club for just $23.

COCONUT GROVE — Apparently October is National Pasta month. Yeah, we didn't know either. But that means Spasso will offer half-priced pasta specials for anyone who dines in the restaurant after 9 p.m. on Monday-Thursday for all the dishes on the menu.

ALL OVER — Eat for a good cause this month as the Culinary Community for Camillus House has officially been launched. Dine on menus all around town at a 20-30 percent savings with 5 percent of the savings being donated to Camillus House. Find the line up of restaurants here.
