Take a Look Around Norman Van Aken’s New Wynwood Stunner

Featuring the neighborhood’s first ever rooftop bar

One of the original Mango Gang members, Norman Van Aken, is returning to his South Florida roots with the opening of Three Restaurant and No. 3 Social Rooftop Bar & Lounge in Wynwood Arcade at 50 NW 24th Street.

For the restaurant and bar Van Aken teamed up with hospitality veterans Susan Buckley and Candace Walsh to bring the project to life. At Three Restaurant, guests can expect that Florida-inspired, “New World Cuisine” that Van Aken built his reputation on. And the restaurant will do something Miami diners can’t find many places — offering only a fully ‘prix fixe’ menu. There are three- and four-course menus as well as a seven-course chef’s tasting menu. The three-course menu will cost $60 and includes a savory dishes with an option for dessert and cheese at an additional cost, four course will cost $75 and includes savory dishes with dessert and cheese at an additional cost, and the chef’s tasting menu will run for $125, with everyone at the table having to participate.

Upstairs at No. 3 Social, guests can experience Wynwood’s first ever rooftop bar and lounge. It will feature a variety of cocktails with local ingredients along with a street food inspired menu with dishes like pulled pork bao buns, shrimp po’ boys, corn dogs, along with ice cream sandwiches and paletas.

No. 3 opens its doors on Saturday, October 21 while Three Restaurant officially opens to the public on November 4.
