Food halls inside malls are quickly becoming Miami’s hot new trend. The latest mall to announce it is jumping on the food hall bandwagon is Aventura Mall, which will debut its new food hall showcase a dozen or so culinary offerings this winter.
Called Treats Food Hall, it will feature pizza concept Figs by Todd English, along with the always popular Shake Shack and Luke’s Lobster. Other local mini chains like My Ceviche, ZUUK Mediterranean, Sliderz, and Poke 305 will also be in the mix.
Treats will be located on the third level of Aventura Mall’s new 315,000 square-foot expansion wing on the east side of the property. It promises to feature “abundant" communal seating and a terrace for al fresco dining.
But come 2018, Miami certainly won’t be lacking in food halls. Brickell City Centre, Design District and Lincoln Road all have food halls in the works, while other food halls like the Time Out Market, Citadel, and Central Fare food halls also plan to make their debut in the new year.
