Get ready for some mesmerizing sensual salt flipping wrist action as Nusret Gökçe’s — aka the man behind the meme phenomenon better known as “Salt Bae” — has officially opened his Turkish steakhouse mini-chain Nusr-et inside former COYA Miami space at 999 Brickell Avenue.
This is the eleventh location for Nusr-et, which has outposts in places like Turkey and Dubai, but is its first location inside the United States. The restaurant is also planning a New York City location later this year, but the Magic City is the first one in the U.S. to try out the hunky butcher’s Instagram famous cuisine.
This location of Nusr-et is similar in to the other locations in terms of cuisine with a meat heavy menu that is meant to be served family style, according to Yavuz Pehlivanlar, the EVP of Dream Group USA (the management team behind the restaurant). Think dishes like marinated sliced beef, rack of lamb, burgers, sausage and more served with a bevy of sides.
The restaurant is now open daily for lunch and dinner daily 11:30 a.m. until midnight. For more information call 305-415-9990.
