Food hall mania is in full force here in Miami, and the latest one to release its upcoming details is St. Roch Market, which is setting up shop in the Design District later this year.
First up is fried chicken concept Coop, which is run by brothers Robert, Ruben, and Giancarlo Rodriguez, who first hit the scene with their pop-up Barn Bites concept a few years back. The menu will feature Southern cuisine like buttermilk biscuits, candy bacon butter and 25-hour brined chicken served on a cheddar chive waffle.
Next up in Sabal Coffee, spearheaded by Vice City Bean and Brothers & Brawlers vet, Chase Rodriguez. On the menu expect espresso-based beverages, ready-brew, cold-brew, and single-origin pour-overs, plus a tea lineup by JoJo Tea featuring both hot and iced varieties.
Lastly comes The Mayhaw bar led by Derek Brumfield. Imbibers can expect everything from Prohibition to Tiki style cocktails, plus a 55-label wine list that specializes in rose and bubbles.
These three concepts will join the already announced Japanese-Peruvian fusion Itamae, Asian concept Yuzu, and the now named Mediterranean concept Jaffa. St. Roch Market — which has its original location in New Orleans — plans to showcase the same interior design of its NOLA counterpart, and will feature 12 different options in total when it debuts.
