Employees Only Miami Has Arrived — Here’s the First Look Inside

Opening today on South Beach

One of the original craft cocktail bars in the world – and arguably one of the most popular still today – is Employees Only. The New York City outpost opened in 2004, and still has people clamoring for a seat at the bar on many evenings.

Last year, the bar announced three new locations outside of New York — Miami, Austin and Singapore — and tonight Employees Only Miami debuts in South Florida inside the Washington Park Hotel at 1050 Washington Avenue in the historic Coral House building.

Guests can expect plenty of Employees Only classics, such as the Billionaire Cocktail and Lazy Lover, plus cuisine like hand-cut steak tartare, bone marrow poppers, bacon wrapped lamb chops, and caviar. And yes, its famous end-of-the-night chicken noodle soup will also be making an appearance.

The art-deco inspired space keeps the feel of the original location including the white-jacketed bartenders and signature psychic located at the entrance, and is even owned and managed by an original partner of Employees Only New York location.

Employees Only is now open daily from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., serving dinner from 6 p.m. to midnight and offering a late night menu until 3:30 a.m.
