Popular NYC pizza restaurant, Artichoke Pizza, officially opens up inside of Ricky's South Beach beginning tonight. The restaurant is somewhat of an institution in New York City, with its original Lower East Side location still drawing crowds way into the wee hours of the night on most evenings.
Artichoke Pizza’s South Beach location will be the brand’s twelfth brick and mortar location, and only its second outside of the New York City boroughs. It serves whole pies and slices including the Margherita Pizza, Sicilian Pizza the namesake Artichoke Pizza made with artichoke hearts, spinach, cream sauce, mozzarella, pecorino romano cheese.
Along with bringing new dishes to the restaurant, Ricky's has revamped its cocktail menu for the summer with plenty of tongue and cheek named drinks like Snowflake's Revenge made with Zacapa and orange to the Gin 'N Juice made with, well, gin and juice. Larger format drinks are also on the menu that are meant for a group and served in vessels like two-gallon gas cans or half gallon barrels.
Ricky’s is open Monday through Friday 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday 2 p.m. to 5 a.m. at 1222 16th Street.
