South Beach isn’t short on lounges, but that’s no stopping adding another one to the mix. The latest addition is called Jezebel Bar + Kitchen (1625 Michigan Avenue), which is the brainchild of Liquid Hospitality’s Chris Paciello and Mio Danilovic.
Housed on Lincoln Road and Michigan Avenue, in the space that held the short lived Bacaro Miami, it serves cocktails prepared and poured tableside in individual shakers along with what is described as an “upscale” bar menu. Dishes include items like mini lobster tacos, yellowtail jalapeño sashimi, Jezebel wings, truffle popcorn, Ahi tuna pizza and flaming s’mores.
The 2,300-square-foot space was designed in collaboration between Liquid Hospitality and interior designer François Frossard. It provides an atmosphere reminiscent of an old school speakeasy with Venetian columns, vintage leather furniture, a massive wooden slab bar and street art of Miguel Paredes featuring scenes from New York City on the walls.
Jezebel Bar + Kitchen is now open daily from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. For more information call 786-275-6324.
