Brooklyn’s Roberta’s Is Opening a Mobile Pizza Pop-Up in the Design District

Taste Roberta’s “Famous Original” and “Bee Sting” pies

Big pizza news: Roberta’s, the pizza joint that Eater calls “the epicenter of the modern Brooklyn food scene,” is headed to Miami this fall. In October, Roberta’s will open a mobile pop-up in Jungle Plaza that will run through April 2018.

The outpost will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will serve all the pies that Brooklynites know and love, like the margherita, Bee Sting, and the Famous Original. Pies will be dished out in two sizes and run from $9 to 18.

“Roberta’s has always been a supporter of art, design and ideation, which is why chose the Design District for our first venue in Miami. We love the vibe, style and continual evolution of the neighborhood and are thrilled to be a part of its next phase,” co-founder Brandon Hoy said in press release.

This isn’t the first time Roberta’s ventured out of NYC. The too-cool pizza spot popped up in LA for a two-month stay this past year, fueling speculation Roberta’s might put down permanent roots in Los Angeles. Now Roberta’s is officially Miami-bound, and hopefully, that pop-up will include merch too (just check out this sweatshirt).
