The Team Behind Juvia to Debut a Posh Members Only Club in the Design District

Called El Club, it’s based on a similar Venezuelan club

Legendary Caracas nightclub, Le Club, is coming to Miami later this year in a new form, thanks the owners and restaurateurs of Juvia Miami Beach, Sushi Garage and Bonito St. Barth. The Miami version will be called El Club — because, hey, got to mix it up a (slight) bit — and will be a members-only club featuring a lounge, bar and food located at 112 NE 41st Street.

Designed by James Beard award-winning architect and interior designer Alejandro Barrios Carrero, the 15,000-square-foot El Club will begin on the seventh floor where a private entrance will lead members to the main bar and lounge. Once inside the lounge there will be wood-painted walls, colorful banquettes, marble-top tables, and paintings and murals of horses from the original version of Le Club. Floor-to-ceiling windows will make way for a outdoor terrace overlooking the surrounding neighborhood.

Select pre-opening memberships are currently available, although membership rates have yet to be disclosed. For more information on El Club visit
