Musician and large-hat wearer, Pharrell Williams, is teaming up with restaurant and club owner David Grutman to debut a new restaurant and bar called Swan and Bar Bevy, respectively, in the Miami Design District, the South Florida Business Journal reports.
The 17,000-square-foot eatery located at 90 N.E. 39th St. will be a first for Williams, but certainly not a first for Grutman who’s newly formed Groot Hospitality Group is behind eateries like neighboring OTL, Planta, and Komodo, along with mega-nightclubs LIV and Story.
And for those who have been hearing the rumors of Pharell opening a spot in Miami for a while now, well, they are right. According to the Business Journal, the duo have been working together on the project for two years already.
“[Pharrell] has some great ideas and visions,” Grutman said to the Business Journal. “I think it’s going to the be the most beautiful restaurant in Miami.”
No information has been released on what the cuisine will be or who will be manning the kitchen, were told by reps that those details are forthcoming.
