Miami Heat stars Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem have announced today that they’ve partnered to introduce the West Coast-based restaurant 800° Woodfired Kitchen to South Florida this fall at 2956 Aventura Boulevard, Suite C-3. This marks the first business venture that Wade and Haslem have launched together as part of their new company Forty-Three.
The restaurant, which already has locations all over the world from Los Angeles to Tokyo, features a menu focused around wood-fired items like pizza, rotisserie meats, salads and sides. The restaurant was founded by chef Anthony Carron, who worked with chefs like Michael Mina before going out on his own. Wade is also a Global Partner for the brand.
The 4,000-square-foot Aventura space will offer seating for 125, a full bar, and be open for both lunch and dinner service when it debuts. And a second location of 800° Woodfired Kitchen is already in the works and will open in MiamiCentral station in 2019.
