Over-the-top, candy-filled traveling exhibit, Candytopia, is making its way to Miami for the holidays for a limited-run show inside Aventura Mall (19501 Biscayne Boulevard).
Taking over the third floor space of Treats Food Hall, it’s a built-for-Instagram photo op similar to that of the Museum of Ice Cream. Self-described as a “marshmallowy mini-theme park” it is the brainchild of global candy artist Jackie Sorkin of TLC’s Candy Queen, and has traveled the country drawing long lines and sold-out crowds during its stints in 10 cities including Santa Monica, New York and San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Atlanta.
Guests who purchase a ticket can snap pictures in front of a things like a candy sphinx, portrait of Beyonce, Willy Wonka, and Prince, and jump into a pit of a “marshmallow” pit filled with more than 250,000 foam marshmallows, throughout the space’s many rooms. Candytopia Miami will also be home to the first-ever alice + olivia themed room where guests will be offered complimentary alice + olivia co-branded Ring Pop lollipops inspired by the bright, female-focused clothing and accessory brand.
Tickets for Candytopia Miami will go on-sale to the general public beginning November 5, 2019 at noon. Admission costs are $28 for adults; $20 for kids ages 4-13; and kids under three are free. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit here.
