Central Fare, the food hall attached to Miami’s Brightline (soon-to-be Virgin Trains USA) station, is getting a swanky new addition this spring when Juvia Group debuts La Estación American Brasserie.
The 240-seat, 10,000-square-foot restaurant and bar, will feature four private event spaces and a large open kitchen. And while the Juvia Group is known around town for its namesake French, Japanese and Peruvian restaurant at 1111 Lincoln Road along with Sunset Harbor’s Sushi Garage and Sunny Poké, this restaurant will have a more American slant.
“Our new restaurant at Central Fare is completely different than any concept we have done before,” said Jonas Millan, owner of Juvia Group, in a statement. “We want La Estación American Brasserie to be the go-to community restaurant for Brightline’s guests, neighboring residents and the professionals who work right upstairs at MiamiCentral and the surrounding area.”
The menu will feature dishes like barbecue ribs, burgers, soups, salads, steak frites, along with a selection of Japanese items. The 25-seat bar will serve up cocktails, wines on tap, wines by the glass, local beer, and bar bites at with programming like happy hour, live music, and DJs on hand. The four private dining rooms can seat anywhere from 20 to 200 people.
This is just the latest addition to the growing food hall, which also includes the now open Parliament Coffee & Espresso Bar, and soon-to-be open Rosetta Bakery and 800º Woodfired Kitchen. Eater Miami has been told more restaurants will be announced in the coming weeks.
