Wynwood Now Has an 18,000-Square-Foot, Eco-Friendly, Outdoor Food and Drink Space

Called GRO Wynwood, it features drinks, food trucks and even s’mores roasting

Swarm Event Agency, the team behind Wynwood Marketplace, is at it again adding to their already large presence in neighborhood with GRO Wynwood (2700 NW 2nd Avenue) an 18,000-square-foot, environmentally conscious hybrid event space, bar, and food outpost.

Teaming up with Cerveza Patagonia, the rustic outdoor space features a bar in the center with a “garnish garden” where guests can pick herbs for their drinks and hand to their bartender to use in their cocktail made in plastic-free glassware. Plus, every beer purchased at GRO goes towards planting trees right here in South Florida, with a digital clicker on-site documenting the tree count.

“GRO Wynwood is more than a party, it’s an eco-friendly experiential venue where people can come together and experience the best of outdoor activities, great drinks and live music, right here in Wynwood’s backyard,” says Tony Albelo, CEO of Swarm.

When the sun goes down, a s’mores pop-up called The Pit opens up so guests can roast away, and in the back of the space an assortment of food trucks and vendors are serving up bites. Live music is also on hand during the weekends.

Grow is open Friday to Sunday, from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 2 a.m.
