James Beard award-winning pastry chef Christina Tosi is rolling her popular dessert concept Milk Bar into Miami this summer, literally. She announced today that she will be bringing her Milk Bar Ice Cream Truck to Miami where it’ll set up at iconic Miami Beach restaurant Joe’s Stone Crab (11 Washington Ave, Miami Beach) on August 17-18 from noon to 5 p.m.
The stop is part of her four city All You Can Treat Tour, which is making stops in Dallas, Minneapolis, and Chicago. It’ll feature a vintage 1969 Chevy P10 postal truck turned ice cream truck offering Milk Bar treats like Cereal Milk Soft Serve with cornflake crunch, Compost Cookies, Milk Bar Pie, cake truffles and more, plus limited-edition, customizable tour merchandise, cookbook signings, a care-package shipping station and more.
Plus, reps tease that menu item collaborations could be happening at partner restaurants. Does this mean a key lime pie soft serve collaboration with Joe’s is in our future? Time will only tell.
