Fancy a haircut and a drink? New hidden watering hold, Blind Barber, promises just that. The hip New York City import — which also has locations in Chicago and LA — has set up shop at the newly renovated Nautilus by Arlo (1825 Collins Avenue).
During the day, the barbershop offers its marquee services: haircuts, shaves and beard trims, with a complimentary beer or cocktail with every service. At night, located at the back of the shop behind a discreet rear door, is Blind Barber’s backroom cocktail lounge. The cocktail lounge is inspired by old Miami glamour vibes with green and pink velvet seating, terrazzo tables, copper walls and a large projection wall for movies or sports-watching.

A variety of cocktails can be found on the menu from the more traditional Arlo Margarita made with mezcal, grapefruit, rosemary, habanero, and lime, to the more untraditional like the Chai Mai Tai with aged rum, guava, chai, walnut, and orange liqueur. The bar will be serving up its popular grilled cheese menu at the Miami location as well, offering six different varieties of the classic comfort food dish. Options like avocado dip, tomato soup, and ceviche can also be found on the menu.
The barbershop is now open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. with the bar opening at 5 p.m. Happy hour is available daily from 5 to 8 p.m.
