With March 5 this Friday, Miami is gearing up to celebrate the 3-0-5 on its official day and deals can be found throughout the Magic City. Here are a few of the highlights:
Bodega Taqueria y Tequila will be cooking up a special croqueta preparada taco made with ham croqueta, roasted pork, cotija cheese, pickled onions, mojo, and cilantro. Offered on March 5-7 and priced at $3.05. At Pincho, its El Crispy and Spicy El Crispy chicken sandwiches will be priced at $3.05 until 3:05 p.m. on Pincho’s online ordering system and mobile app at all eight locations in Broward and Miami-Dade. While 1-800-LUCKY is offering a ‘Made in Dade’ cocktail for $3.05 all day on March 5, made with a choice of Kettle One Botanical flavor — cucumber and mint, grapefruit and rose, peach and orange blossom — and soda.
New delivery service goPuff is partnering with Miami and Fort Lauderdale food trucks, Ms. Cheezious and B.C. Tacos, to offer up $2 grilled cheese and $1 tacos on Friday, March 5. Deliveries also include 20 percent off beverages from F!VE Drinks Co. and Funky Buddha Brewery.
COYO Taco is teaming up with Little Havana sandwich shop, Sanguich, for a weekend long special running from March 5-7, offering a special edition 305 Quesadilla filled with roasted mojo pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, mustard, cheeses, chipotle aioli — with a side of the mojo sauce from Sanguich for dipping. Available at all Miami Coyo Taco locations for $14.
Another very Miami-specific collaboration for 305 Day is George Arango of @Mr.Eats305 is teaming up with sports bar Black Market to create their own spin on the classic Croqueta Preparada Sandwich made with Islas Canarias croquetas and layered with cilantro lime aioli, spicy guava sauce, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, potato sticks and served on a baguette with a side of yuca fries. The special edition sandwich will be available for $13.50 all weekend long.
Kush Hialeah is celebrating all day starting with a Voli 305 Vodka Happy Hour featuring $3.05 cocktails and 3-for-$3.05 ham croquetas with a portion of all sales benefitting 305 Gives Back. At 6 p.m. it’ll break out the “786 Piñata” and Voli cocktails will be priced at $7.86. All guests will receive a raffle ticket for every Voli cocktail purchased, and at 8 p.m., three lucky winners will be announced. Guests can also enjoy cigars and domino tables outdoors all night long and a breakdance battle performance by Olympic qualifier, Sergio Garcia a.k.a. B-Boy Zeku, along with a special appearance by DJ Laz. Party runs from noon to 9 p.m.

Salt & Straw Pop-Up Celebrates its Miami Debut
To celebrate the recent opening of Salt & Straw’s first east coast scoop shop, the brand has partnered with BBC Icecream, Pharrell Williams’ apparel and accessories brand, to host an outdoor, socially-distant pop-up incorporating the Flavors of Miami. The pop up will feature complimentary samples of Salt & Straw ice cream, music by DJ Crespo, and experiences, tasting opportunities and giveaways by partners featured on Salt & Straw Miami’s opening menu. The pop-up will take place on Saturday, March 6 from noon until 6 p.m. at the BBC ICECREAM Miami Store’s outdoor space, located at 255 NW 25th Street.
Surfside’s Farmer’s Market Makes its Triumphant Return
After being shuttered for nearly a year, the Town of Surfside’s popular farmer’s market retunes this Sunday, March 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 9500 Collins Avenue. The market will feature things like home decor, potted plants, apparel, jewelry, baked goods, vegan cuisine, Peruvian food, and more, and will continue every Sunday moving forward.
