South Beach’s latest restaurant and bar is attempting to move the needle, literally. Norway-based Oche (pronounced like “hockey” without the H) has debuted its first U.S. outpost here in the Magic City featuring tech-driven darts gaming and high-end pub fare.
Named for the line players stand behind when throwing darts, Oche features 13 dart booths that guests can rent for 85 minute sessions at $25 a person. Guests can play a traditional game of darts or choose from one of the four other dart-centered games. Private and semi-private dart rooms are also available for those who come with a crowd.

The menu was created by executive chef Niels van Halen, a former chef at the Michelin-starred restaurant De Hoefslag in the Netherlands, and chef Michael Lunga. Highlights include bacon wrapped maduros (plantains), spicy tuna cones, wagyu sliders, chicken thigh skewers, crab cakes, and a variety of pizzas like the piccante topped with spicy sausage, burrata, and spring onion, or the rock shrimp pizza topped with manchego, scallions, cilantro, and lemon. And even if guests don’t want to play darts, they can still dine at the restaurant.
Oche’s cocktail program was created by local beverage director David Ortiz and offers Miami-inspired drinks like the Mango Tip made with tequila, mango liqueur, lime, agave and tajin or the Tamarind Sling made with vodka, tamarind, chocolate bitters, and agave.
Oche is located at 200 South Pointe Drive and is open 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday to Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Call 240-421-1977 for more information.
