View as Map

Club Sandwiches are a classic diner fare and we unabashedly can't get enough of them. They're perhaps the least greasy of the greasy spoons, and we think that's THE perfect excuse to devour them often. Traditionally comprised of turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise all stacked together on toasty bread, this iconic sandwich has been winning hearts (and tastebuds) since the late 19th century. As part of the mouthwatering Greasy Spoons Week, we're bringing you Miami's most delicious club sandwiches—from faithful picks to more sophisticated variations. We hope you're hungry!

Club Panini at Jimmy'z Kitchen

Who can resist a warm, toasty panini? Hmm, we know we can't. At Jimmy'z Kitchen, the club sandwich ditches its numerous slices of bread and transforms into a Club Panini. We're talking about Black Forest ham, turkey, bacon, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise layered on fresh multigrain bread. A subtle, but quite worthy change.

Blackened Chicken Club at 11th Street Diner

11th Street Diner is the real deal, and their version of the club sandwich proves it. Blackened chicken takes place of the traditional turkey, but the other usual suspects remain: bacon, lettuce and tomato on the most beautiful pieces of toast you've ever seen (we're serious about toast, okay?).

Grilled Chicken Club at Biscayne Tavern

Located in the relatively new B2 Miami Downtown, Biscayne Tavern is a gastro-tavern that's taking hints from our favorite diner bites. Their Grilled Chicken Club is evidence that simple ingredients make really good food: juicy grilled chicken, bacon, lettuce and heirloom tomato.

Club Sandwich at Versailles

It's tough to resist a Cuban sandwich when in Versailles, but you'll be well rewarded for ordering the Club Sandwich. Sweet ham, turkey breast, bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on white bread AND it's served with house-made plantain chips. You can thank us after the cortadito.

Club at Donut Gallery

You won't find any donuts in the Donut Gallery Diner, but you will find their authentic CLUB: turkey, ham, bacon, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. While you're at it, why not put an egg on it (for $1 only)? Trust us: the trip is worth it.

House Club at Morgan's Restaurant

A local favorite for organic fare, The Morgan's Restaurant is doing brunch right with their fresh House Club. This sandwich is all about bright flavors and the freshest ingredients! Oven roasted tender, free-range chicken breast, bacon, avocado, tomato, and lettuce with delicious basil mayo (you'll want extra for some serious fry-dipping).

Roasted Chicken Club Sliders at Cafeina

Cafeina's Roasted Chicken Club Sliders are not only adorable, but also ingeniously good. There's just something about sliders that tugs at our heartstrings, and in this case it happens to be roasted chicken, pancetta, mixed greens, and garlic aioli all piled on the cutest buns in town.

The Lederman Club at Joanna's Marketplace

Joanna's Marketplace is club sandwich paradise! Offering not only one, but two club options to choose from. We're particularly fond of The Lederman Club, a colossal sandwich composed of fresh roasted turkey, Wisconsin Muenster cheese, applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, and deli mustard between THREE slices of old-fashioned rye bread.

Le Club at Cane A' Sucre

How do you say club sandwich in French? Well, we're actually not entirely sure... but gourmet sandwich shop, Cane Á Sucre, serves Le Club and that's good enough for us! Sliced natural turkey, crispy bacon, Swiss cheese, vine-ripened tomatoes, mixed greens, and avocado aioli are served on a toasted French baguette making a très bon sandwich.

The Club at Cityslickers

How can we say no to a club sandwich in sub form? Easy: we can't. City Slickers is serving the club in a whole new way: rotisserie turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and Thousand Island dressing on your choice of a freshly baked hoagie bread.

The Setai Club Sandwich at The Setai

If you happen to find yourself lounging at The Setai's fabulous pool (oh, how we envy you!), then go ahead and “treat yo self” to The Setai Club Sandwich. A greasy spoon favorite gone sophisticated with grilled turkey breast, tomatoes, farmed eggs, Bibb lettuce, and apple wood smoked bacon. Not too shabby.

La Sandwicherie

It just wouldn't feel right to make a map of Miami's best club sandwiches and not include La Sandwicherie... So what they don't have a club sandwich on their menu? Don't let that stop you from ordering one! Their menu kindly states: “Feel free to request any combination.” That's right, go nuts with your club! Keep it traditional, go ham, smoked salmon or even vegetarian.
