Miami identifies with a lot of things, but artisanal bread isn't exactly one of them. There’s enough Cuban bakeries in South Florida to sustain the entire population of the peninsula. But in more recent years bakeries —both brick and mortar and pop-ups— of other origins have made a name for themselves and Miami is lucky enough to have French almond croissants sprinkled all over the city.
