And with 4th of July just days away, here are some stellar options around Miami offering barbecue for takeout and delivery.

As always in these times, check the social media handles of and websites for details like menu items and delivery hours as they may change. Also, always remember to tip well and call before using a delivery platform such as Postmates or UberEats, which comes with hefty fees for consumers and restaurants.

Richard Hales’ barbecue outpost at The Citadel is currently open Friday-Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. with takeout through its website. Diners can choose from 9 meats brisket burnt ends, pork ribs, and wagyu beef sausage, paired with sides like loaded potatoes and coleslaw. For those who aren’t in Miami, the restaurant also ships its goods countrywide.
