Le Sirenuse Miami

While this might be the priciest burger on the list, it’s certainly worth it. The L’Hamburger is made with Australian Wagyu, tomato, lettuce, melty mozzarella cheese, served on a brioche bun with chef Antonio Mermolia’s upscale Italian fries.

Blue Collar

Located in MiMO, the Real Juicy Cheeseburger has been a favorite of the neighborhood since 2012. While it might seem like a no frills burger, it’s served on Portuguese muffins — making it slightly more exotic. Piled perfectly on top of the muffins, diners will find a NY strip steak burger blend, cheese, and LTO.

Jr's Gourmet Burgers

At Jr’s Gourmet Burgers, guests will find a menu with more than a dozen unique burger options. This spot has won so many burger awards, that it’s nearly impossible to order wrong. Those looking for a burger with a Miami twist should opt for the The Guy’s Burger made using two pieces of sliced bread with cream cheese, guava, and a patty cooked medium well, all wrapped in bacon with a side of guava ketchup.

This burger is not for beginners. Chef Richard Hales’ Gussied Up Triple Burger combines stacked and smothered triple brisket and short-rib beef patties, butter-poached lobster, fried green tomato slices, pepper bacon, key lime mustard sauce, and a vibrant orange marmalade, all on a bun. And instead of using a traditional slice of cheese, Hales covers this burger with fondue made with raclette cheese.

Burger enthusiasts and those who appreciate a clever pun instantly fall in love with USBS, a burger pop-up that takes place behind Boxelder on Friday evenings from “4ish” until it’s sold out. The simple menu features “ground” or “two-day” (double patty) burgers and a side of “insurance” aka thick cut French fries. Weekly specials often include cheeky named options like the “Honey, I ShiShrunk The Kids” burger made with a single patty, honey, beef ‘nduja, and honey mustard charred shishito peppers.

Grails Sports Bar

Every good sports bar needs an even better burger, and the Cactus Jack burger at Wynwood’s Grails Sports Bar is no exception. It’s got an angus beef patty with white cheddar, applewood smoked bacon, crispy onion straws, and Grails sauce.

Le Chick Miami

Wynwood’s Dutch hotspot may be known for its fried chicken, but the burger is one not to be missed. The Royale with cheese (cue: Pulp Fiction quotes) is made with two 3oz dry-aged brisket patties, cheddar, tomato, lettuce, pickles, and secret sauce. Pro tip: during happy hour and every Tuesday from open to close snag this burger with a side of fries for just $10.

Sweet Liberty Drinks & Supply Company

The Buns of Liberty burger might be one of the best kept secrets at the award-winning cocktail bar, Sweet Liberty. This massive burger is made with two ground brisket and sirloin patties, American cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato, one big fried onion ring, special sauce, and is served with a healthy amount of herbed shoestring fries.

Cheeseburger Baby

Got those 3 a.m. burger cravings? Head to Cheeseburger Baby, Miami Beach’s oldest burger spot, who’s open until the wee hours of the night. There wouldn’t be the word “cheese” in the name if there weren’t options: yellow American, cheddar, Swiss, and pepper jack are all ready and waiting to be melted into gooey perfection on top of a Angus beef burger with choice of toppings.

Seawell Fish N' Oyster

Located in the Angler’s Hotel on South Beach, Seawell Fish N’ Oyster serves up more than just seafood, including a stellar burger. The Seawell Burger is topped with cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, Marie rose sauce, and served with a generous side of fries.

Stephen Starr’s Miami Beach Upland knows its way around a burger. The Upland burger is stacked tall with beef, American cheese, peppadews, and avocado. Plus, it’s $4 off during the daily happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m.

The Local Craft Food & Drink

The Local burger stands tall with its double patties, double cheese, chopped bacon, dill pickles, and Mississippi Comeback sauce. It tends to sell out, so coming in early or calling ahead is always recommended. On Mondays score a burger and a beer for $15.

The Chug Burger at Ariete may be one of Michael Beltran’s greatest creations, which makes sense as it’s named after his long running nickname. The Chug burger is almost reminiscent of a Big Mac, in all the right ways — but better. It’s small yet filling, with everything made on-site from the buns to the sauce and the patties that are ground in-house daily.
