Macondo Coffee Roasters
Tucked away in an unassuming street is Macondo, an unexpected surprise in Doral. Its brightly lit seating area is ideal for taking eyes off a screen and reading old, dusty pages from a book. But since we're on the topic of free Wifi, there's that, too.

SpecialTEA Lounge & Cafe
SpecialTEA has shown finesse in at least four things from the get-go: puns, tea, board games and baked goods. Check out the Facebook photos for a full visual menu. Located just a few minutes from FIU, there are plenty of testimonials from students who've entered the Cafe and haven't found the courage to leave. That said, it can get a little packed, so call ahead and make sure there's room if planning to stay awhile.
Tea & Poets
Tea with a side of literature? Such is the case at Sunset Place’s Tea & Poets. The coffee shop turns into a poetry reading venue several nights of the week, but visitors during the day can hit up the cafe’s complimentary wifi, coffee, teas, and plenty of snacks to keep the literary juices flowing.
