Housed inside the retro Vagabond Hotel, this upscale American diner will serve its regular menu for New Year’s Eve, which means guests can welcome 2020 with a fully loaded burger and boozy Pink Squirrel milkshake. For those watching their calorie count, options include the prawn cocktail and the whole roast spring chicken, pair those with cocktails like the Oaxaca Daisy and Root Beer Sour, which are prime examples of this eatery’s heightened cocktail game.
Dragonfly Izakaya & Fish Market
For New Year’s Eve Dragonfly will be offering a three-course dinner priced at $77 a person. On the menu is Japanese milk bread toast with aged bluefin toro, uni, caviar, white truffle oil, and shiso; oysters with caviar, momishi broshi, ponzu and shiso; and wagyu striploin with hokkaido scallops.
Stiltsville Fish Bar
Chefs Jeff McInnis and Janine Booth are offering a six-course tasting menu at their laidback Miami Beach seafood restaurant this New Year’s Eve. For $75 a person, with an optional $60 beverage pairing, guests can dine on dishes like osetra caviar topped deviled eggs, Kumamoto oysters, and seared scallop and sea salt cured foie gras. Main courses include brown butter poached Maine lobster and ricotta gnudi, and black truffle crusted tuna over truffled corn grits, the meal is then finished with a Nutella souffle.
Time Out Market Miami
For those unwilling to settle on one venue, this market offers a choice of 18 of the city’s best. Coyo Taco by Scott Linquist, Krun-Chi by Jeremy Ford, and Kush by Matt Kutcher is a sampling of the culinary offerings under one roof at Time Out Market. Ring in the New Year with a live DJ and optional bottomless drink packages which range from $95 to $120, and includes a $50 gift card to spend at any of the restaurants. The Alley serves Neapolitan-style pizza, pasta, charcuterie, salads, and a selection of cocktails, beer and wine, close to the hustle and bustle of Miami Beach New Year’s celebrations. The Mufaletta (salami, sopressata, mortadella, prosciutto, peppers, olives, arugula, and mozzarella) kale (kale, gorgonzola cheese, mozzarella, onions, grated pecorino, pomodoro sauce, and chili oil) and vongole (clams, garlic scallion butter, guanciale, oregano, and lemon) are top contenders.

This go-to Italian eatery is offerings guests a four-course tasting menu priced for $95 on New Year’s Eve with an optional $55 for wine pairing. Items include sea scallops with sunchoke puree, pappardelle with lamb shank ragu, and branzino with crushed potatoes. Available from 6 to 11 p.m.
Seawell Fish N' Oyster
For New Year’s Eve guests dining at this seafood-focused newcomer will receive three complimentary oysters and a glass of bubbles along with a token to ring in the new year on the rooftop of the adjacent Kimpton Angler’s Hotel South Beach. In addition to the regular a la carte dinner menu, executive chef Julian Garriga’s dinner specials for the evening include foie gras with caramel apple and brioche ($21), spicy lobster bucatini ($28), porchetta made with smoked polenta and black truffle ($46) and a 2 lb. grilled lobster with black truffle butter ($55). In the spirit of caution, Lost Boy is celebrating the New Year with its “overrated” party, In plain speak, for those wanting to skip all the fuss of fancy meals and just want to welcome 2020 with a drink in hand, Lost Boy will be offering a no-cover night featuring live music by DJ G. Brown, champagne specials, and a midnight tequila toast.
Orilla Bar & Grill
Housed at Urbanica The Euclid Hotel will welcome 2020 with a tasting menu by chef Fernando Trocca for $120 per person featuring dishes such as spicy beef empanadas, burrata with roasted scallions and salsa verde, black rice with squid and bacon, and a pavlova acai dessert.
ADDIKT
Come for dinner and stay for the party at W Miami’s 15th floor eatery boasting bay and downtown skyline views. From 6 to 8 p.m the restaurant will offer a four-course dinner featuring items like tenderloin tartare, duck confit, grilled lobster tail, pan seared loup de mer, chocolate clafoutis, and a glass of champagne for $125 per person. Then keep the party going from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. with an open bar and music played by DJ Zog for $40 a person.

Hutong Miami
This sexy newcomer in Brickell combines ancient China with modern Miami flair. To welcome 2020, Hutong will be offering its Northern Chinese la carte dinner menu along with New Year’s Eve themed party favors and a DJ. Diners will have to be selective to stay within budget, but items like peking duck, dim sum platter, and halibut red star noodles are tempting choices.
Cafe La Trova
Say goodbye to 2019 at Julio Cabrera and Michelle Bernstein’s Cafe La Trova, which is offering two seatings during the evening. The first is from 6 to 7 p.m. for $85 a person and features a family-style, three-course menu and choice of a glass of champagne, daiquiri or mojito. The second seating from 9 to 10 p.m. includes a four-course menu, welcome glass of bubbly, daiquiri or mojito, along with a champagne toast at midnight. Tigertail + Mary
For New Year’s Eve guests at Michael Schwartz’s latest eatery will be treated to a four-course tasting menu priced at $79. Starters featured are persimmon and stracciatella, tuna crudo and Perigord truffle pasta, and coddled egg with lobster. Entree choices include striped bass with cauliflower, sirloin with broccolini and mushrooms, or crispy corn cake with mushrooms parsnip puree. End the night with tres leches or chocolate and caramel.
Ariete
For New Year’s Eve, this American eatery with Cuban influences, will be offering two different five-course menus with options priced at $125 per person. Each menu includes one bottle of champagne for the table and features options like stone crab, lobster Wellington, as well as one of the restaurant’s most popular dishes, the Ariete short rib. Vegetarian selections include crema de malanga, gnudi plantain, and vegetable tamale. Seatings from 4 to 11 p.m.
