Eater's 2013 Burger Week Starts Now

Welcome to Eater Burger Week 2013! All week long Eater blogs across the nation will be your headquarters for all things burger. The quintessential hamburger, the buns, fries, condiments, all that goes along with it and whatever else you can name, this is where you find it. To start the week off right, we've asked a few places that don't usually serve burgers to put one on the menu for Eater readers. Last week we solicited suggestions from Yardbird enthusiasts to help them come up with a burger, today the verdict is out and the burger is ready. Eating House and Poseidon have also created a special burger. Check them out below.

The Char-Grilled Chicken Burger served with house-made house-made ketchup, thick slice heirloom tomato, avocado, and a side of buttermilk fried okra and Tabasco mayo. Yep, it’s something good. And it's available on the lunch menu today, April 15, through Friday, April 19.

This joint just opened up last week and co-owner Vasilis was more than happy to create a special Greek Lamb Burger. Served with sundried tomato mayo spread on the bun, topped with goat cheese, tomato, cucumber and a side of greek fries. On the menu April 15-19.

The popular Coral Gables eatery, Eating House, has created this beauty: A Carbonara Burger with a Black Angus patty, apple wood smoked bacon, fontina, black truffle, egg and parmigiano. Get a taste of it on this week’s brunch menu.
