Holiday bars have become all the rage in South Florida, and throughout the country. Showcasing over-the-top Christmas decor, boozy holiday themed cocktails, and plenty of holiday hits, it’ll be hard not to get into the Christmas spirit this year. Check out the list of bars, restaurants, and menus below getting a festive makeover for the holidays this year around South Florida.

Fueled by the success of locations in New York City and New Orleans, Sippin’ Santa has dramatically expanded with partner and Tiki expert Jeff “Beachbum” Berry, this year, growing to over 20 locations. Expect tiki twists on festive themed cocktails, including large-format Jingle Bowls, bites like tiki tacos and Kaula pig, and more.

Annie Blake and Ayme Harrison, co-owners of Death or Glory Bar in Delray Beach, home of the first Miracle pop up in South Florida, partnered with The Restaurant People to bring Miracle to Las Olas. The space will be transformed into “J & J Diner” each evening serving up holiday comfort classics like meatloaf, short rib-stuffed meatball, chicken-fried steak and Reuben sandwiches, alongside the festive cocktails.

5. Miracle at Wynwood (at Shirley’s at Gramps)

Returning for the second year in a row, Shirley’s at Gramps will transform itself into a winter wonderland with Miracle as Miracle at Wynwood. Guests can sip on favorites like the Bad Santa and the Christmapolitan, alongside new libations like the SanTaRex served in a bright green Tyrannosaurus Rex ceramic mug. Plenty of programming will also be on hand including Christmas Karaoke on Tuesdays, live music with The.Ghost.Trumpet.Collective on Wednesdays, a barbershop quartet singing Christmas music Thursdays, and creative workshops throughout, like “Calligraphy Classes for Christmas Cards” with Miami Writes Co.

Debuting for the first time in Miami, Sippin’ Santa at Minnow Bar will be completely tiki themed, from drinks to décor and different glassware, all with a Christmas twist with festive drinks like the Christmas in July, Festivus Flip, and the large format Beachbum Barry.
