Those in South Florida know that Christmas Eve is just as big of a deal as Christmas is in this part of the country. Called “Noche Buena” in many circles and families, it’s a time to celebrate a big meal with those closest to you. But for those who aren’t in the mood to whip up the Christmas Eve feast this year, there are 10 places around town that are offering up their take on the feast as well.

Matador Room

Celebrate Christmas Eve at Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Matador Room. Its four-course meal offers restaurant favorites like tuna tartare, sweat pea guacamole, crispy octopus, beef carpaccio, roasted snapper, lamb chops, and finished with chocolate mousse or a citrus pavlova for $130 per person. 

Available from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. 

Three is celebrating with a Miami-style “Feast of the Seven Fishes” dinner on Christmas Eve. The menu includes oysters, fritto misto, flounder crudo and grilled fish. For dessert, choose between the dulce de leche budino or brigadeiros. The menu costs $85 per person with an optional wine pairing for an additional $45. 

Seatings start at 6 p.m.

Priced at $65 per person, the meal starts with bruschetta and spaghetti chitarra alla puttanesca, followed by a whole branzino, pesto chickpeas, and spinach and mushroom fregola, and a choice of tiramisu or panna cotta for dessert.

Guests can choose between seared scallops, orange salad, or stone crabs to start, followed by a main course offerings like prime rib, pork chop, or pan roasted arctic char, along with a variety of sides. The seven-course tasting menu includes hamachi crudo, butter lettuce salad, lobster bisque, baked oysters bingo, crabby pattys, bucatini with clams, branzino, and croissant bread pudding for $75 per person.

The seven-course menu includes an uni omelet, lobster salad, swan depot, bacalao ravioli, plancha scallop with shaved black truffle, bucatini with Peekytoe crab, en Brodo with tuna bottarga, and a cannoli.
