It's late. The drinks: plentiful. The night: long. You: in dire need of some booze-soaking sustenance––stat.

Well, you're in luck. Because today, Eater Miami shares a heat map for late night greasy spoons. We're featuring restaurants that serve up filling (read: gut-busting), comforting eats until the wee hours of the morning. You'll find a little bit of everything on here, from South Beach stalwarts to Wynwood saloons. As always, if there's a restaurant that was missed, let us know in the comments.

Yes, it’s a bit off of the beaten path, but you’ll be handsomely rewarded for the trek to this longtime Liberty City eatery. Open twenty-four hours a day, you can find plates brimming with soul food classics like collard greens, mac ‘n cheese and fried catfish and conch.

La Carreta

Open until 2:30am on Saturdays, think of La Carreta as the Cuban version of the greasy spoon. Excellent late night carb-loading in the form of pressed ham-pork-and-cheese sandwiches with a side of fried plantains.
For an atypical late night bite, head to this eclectic Nicaraguan joint in Little Havana. Statues of roosters, pigs and ox pay homage to obscenely large plates of fried pork and cups of chicha (purple corn juice), 24/7. Tip: bring cash.

Morro Castle

At Morro Castle, the humble frita reigns supreme. For $2.50, you can get your fill of seasoned beef patties topped with shoestring potatoes. Afterwards, satisfy that sweet-tooth with a crispy, sugar-laden mound of churros. Open until 1 a.m. Sun-Thurs, 2 p.m. Fri-Sat.

Hot dogs. It’s what’s for dinner (or lunch, or breakfast..) until 6am at this Colombian perro palace in Brickell. You can top your dog with hangover-preventing foodstuffs like, sausage, bacon, potato chips and quail eggs.
